well i think it translated quite well
it is at least better that some of the other thinks i brought at the bookshop
i won a pas where you could buy 50 euros of books with
but i still think The Hitchhiker's Guide to the universe is better
and compared to some the Chinese novels on this site it is not long winded
if one of those xianxia writers get to rewrite lord of the ring it would be at least 10 times as long
Hahahaha I totally understand. Speaking of long-winded, ever tried Endgame by James Frey? The POVs are really done well. Or Red Rising by Pierce Brown?
I actually avoid cn novels with too much chapters. Sometimes, plot lines gets reused way to many times
The last one... Fablehaven?
Fantasy, I kinda like Rick Riordan (but I absolutely hate how he does cliff-hangers *grrr*). And Brandon Sanderson. I'm probably missing a lot of names here since it has been a while since I read an english title.
and talking about rick riordan
i liked his first book sersie
the second was less good but still a good read
the Egyptians serie was short but good
but his latest works like the ones about apolo
or the norse gods.
i think are huge let dows
Ahh true. I like his second series, the one where they added roman mythology. Cause I like the characters more.
My current favorite is actually The Ascendance Trilogy by Jennifer Nielsen. The protag's personality was really well fleshed and the plot was so good imo.
Anyway, I should get back to sleep... I'm done calming my heart from a nightmare. Nice talking to you~
