yes, I too enjoy buying a collector's edition, getting a cheaper item than advertised, then have my personal information including my home address leaked when trying to send in a ticket for replacement of said cheap item.
well I haven't bought a collectors edition anything since Skyrim in 2011 so that doesn't really apply to me, also thanks for the not so subtle sarcasm~
and I have major issues with Bethesda. before Bethesda support leaked customer info all anyone could bitch about was the game engine, well they been using that garbage engine since prince of persia 3d in like the 90's
;p Personally I was never into fallout and the only bethesda created game I played was Skyrim, but I can't help but feel that the palpable outrage I'e seen people have about this game is justified after the back to back to back issues this game has had thus far. I sorta think Bethesda should just publish games at this point and give up on development XD I did love Prey
no one bitched and moaned about skyrim, hell that game got re-released on two different generations of consoles, I bought that collectors edition, and I got all the DLC, but day one I had bugs, glitches, and all manner of error, i still love that game and put 1k+ hours into it
all I'm saying is if you can get it through Gamefly or Redbox, check it out. ignoring the server issue of getting booted every couple hours the game is pretty fun even more so if you have friends to hang with and if you don't there is an entire reddit community trying to bring everyone together
I enjoyed skyrim at the time because of the open world aspects that weren't really popular previous to its release. My fav thing to do in the game was stalk and kill messengers and read the letters they were carrying. The combat system completely turned me off though and eventually I just stopped playing. I def had some fun times tho
if they had released Fallout 76 as A looter Shooter with RPG elements at a 40$ price tag everyone moaning about it right now would be sucking the proverbial Bethesda Teet.
I mean, if almost no one listened to PR, if no one pre ordered, and if no one paid for P2W microtransactions, sure, we wouldn't have any of these issues in the industry. No matter how much I don't though, enough people will *shrug* At this point I just stay away from all AAA publishers (at least American)
