Try conventional simple methods first like, drinking warm milk, taking a bath and/or playing music in the background (I always do the last one). Some prefers meditation and stuff. Just need to find what's right for you.
As for the stress, not all stress is bad. Identify what's stressing you out and try to either fix it or be at peace with it. Though, I must say, some things are easy to say but not that easy to do
