Meh, I think its all about how you spend it.
Some people like to spend it with Family, other alone, some just in contemplation with God.
You just have to make it your own time, whatever that means to you.

It's annoying because:
1. It's commercialized.
2. I hate receiving gifts.
3. I hate giving gifts.

orz... won't argue the commercialized part.

1.) You can ignore that.
2.) So, you don't like someone giving you a special gift? But thats kinda sad.
3.) So, you don't like giving a new punishment to the poor old maso you have? Thats a shame.
