    @Rufi-sidd at some point, Xiaoyao told Supreme commander, other commanders under SC that 'he' doesnt want to be the emperor anymore. The war was heating up, each ppl with selfish ambitions.

    @Rufi-sidd Great men must conquer the land. Even SC was 'blinded' by power. Many wanted him to be the next monarch. And when Xiaoyao needed him the most for army backup, SC didn't come. He delayed his army movements, on purpose. SC probably thought he had both the woman(Xiaoyao) and the world at his hand.
