It was quite good. It turned into something of a harem but...still was good despite that.

Is it similar to the reincarnation stories?

hmm...I wouldn't classify it as a reincarnation story? It's a level-up type story, but not in the context of a game like One Man Army. It's more similar to Solo Leveling (manhwa and novel) or The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor.
