Lol this reminds me: I heard the scientist that originally coined the terms "alpha wolf" and "omega wolf" regretted writing a book about it cause the wolves he had observed to be alphas turned out to be simply the parents. He tried to get the copies of that book back but it was just too popular, the false theory reached a lot more people than his later correction of it xD

I find it amusing that people likes associating flying creatures with wings. I had my friend picture out a flying pig and not to my surprise, it was a pig with wings.

Because wings= birds= flying

Unless you're in space or have magic, you can't fly on the ground

But still flying creatures other than birds themselves is beyond logical (for now) so why is that imagery so logical...

Because we usually associate things that fly have wings, we need something for our imagination to based off of. You could never build something without a foundation, so the natural world is the foundation for our imagination.

I want science to evolve some more and improve/invent anti-gravity concepts. Prolly why I don't associate flying with wings much

antigravity...as long as we're on earth, there's no such thing as antigravity currently...
the earth's core generate a magnetic field, we could find/create a material that's able to repel it...I don't know much about magnetic honestly

That's why I like magic a lot. No need for in-depth explanations. You could just add mana or whatever as a mystical factor to make the impossible happen
