man most phones have 32 gb or more, every phone has atleast 16 gb. The os tends to be around 6-8 gb. that still lives 25 / 10 gb. Thats more than enough...

@Ddraig my phone is like... 16 GB. And fyi, OA is 3 GB+ now.

I bet that is because the installation leaves the .obb file for future. Just delete it and the space required will easily drop to half the previous requirement.

I can't move the app data to sd card. I can't do it with MIUI 8.

Don't use the SD card for integrated storage. Use it as separate and move all your photos and movies on it
