Can a man who is hyper-conscious, who takes pleasure in his own degradation, possibly respect himself?
Right? Then again he base his actions on spite even though he is not at all spiteful. So again, self-deception. We will see how it goes~
My collection of read books is still on the low spectrum, as you know, I moved from web novels to published books this year. So: Nope. Wanna recommend something?
You can try Stiletto by Harold Robbins. As for classics, did you read Crime and Punishment by Dostoevsky? Also I'll recommend Wuthering Heights by Charlotte Bronte
I was going in order of Wikipedia by Dostoevsky. Notes from underground to Crime and Punishment to The Idiot to Demons and to Brother one. Withering heights is on my list. I'll check the other one. Classics are hard to get into.
Yeah classics use a different language. Are you interested in books other than those from a villain's POV?
I am. Villains' POV is my most favorite. But I like obsessive characters too. I'll just read anything which will interest me. Like this, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11387515-wonder It has nothing of which I prefer but it was fun book.
Or this: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/162259.The_Petty_Demon?ac=1&from_search=true Paranoid character.
Russians, huh? I'll refer some serious stuff then. Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak and For Whom The Bell Tolls by Hemmingway.
