Never been on an airplane in my life. Or a train for a long period of time, my long distant mode of transportation has been by a car. As for others in America it depends but most go by airplane instead of train

oh you should try i think =) I know how it is frighting just to stand near open space on some 10 th floor for example it is really scary. But if you stay in floor with windows and look from it on surface it will not be scary like you imagine. Very good method to overcome fear of height.
