Holy fak, it is indeed slow af translating on chrome right now(open txt file from chrome and TL) Thought its only you. Its weird, mtl-ing some novel 100 chapter was not a problem 3months ago. Might had to try the chrome 75 build or lower, as of right now 76-77 build is a mess for MTL
Yeah, chrome 75 build is the best for MTL right now. Even my potato pc translating real quick with this chrome version.

Update: Literally the cause was chromes latest update. I reverted back to the august 15 version and its back to translating stuff in jiffy
