Dread Empress Victorious when

Honestly, that whole load of cliffs are so vicious.

They aren't the bad cliffs though, where they just throw something random at you and leave you hanging. These are the good ones, where it's just ratcheting the tension up to 11.

And I don't think she's Dread Empress. Though I could be wrong.

I think her name is going to be something related to teaching, where she is the headmistress and 'educates' all of the the naughty children. But I don't think she ends up with a ruling name.

Black is going to break Praes, such that Dread Emperor/Empress will never be a name again. Just like how Tyrant did the same for Helike.

Well yeah, it's unlikely she'll be Dread Empress but one can dream. Besides, that's probably what Grey expects to happen (especially after she threatened him with exactly that)

Freaking Ranger just popping up like that. Alaya basically jinxed herself with that last thought. The last volume will be lit.

I'm kinda curious though. Do you think we'll see Assassin finally before the end of the last book?
