Childhood friend? Protagonist does grow some pair, but that's in the racist mother-in-law arc. As for the two women fighting over him, no man, even with the heaviest balls goes between women's shuraba.
Yes the bitchy female childhood friend. It's her fault for not confessing earlier she has the advantage but she only confessed due to the appearance of the dragon girl and the twins.
I have to agree with you there. Like it or not, she's the homewrecker in this story. As for the protagonist, he is physically strong, but is dense when it comes to romance, and overthinks the small things (mother-in-law arc). Then again, it might be a JP protagonist trait we have to accept.
