I love eating a huge bowl of Japanese rice plain. (¯﹃¯) It’s been too long since I’ve had the good stuff. Even in Japanese restaurants here in the U.S., the rice is drier than what I had when I visited Japan.
Otherwise, I commonly eat rice with some butter or chicken juice, and that’s it. That’s normal for me. Lifelong normal. But maybe that’s not plain enough?
Plain rice? That's pretty normal. I shame my sister all the time for eating banana ketchup by itself. I caught her sucking on brown sugar blocks too. Shamed her for it as well. Oh what fun it is. :^)
@Little Potato I don't mind having spicy food...but I make sure that I will be able to taste it before the burning sensation starts... yk, there are some food that just only burns your tongue...you can't even tell whether it tastes good or bad
You can eat plain rice plainly, if you cook it nice. You can do whatever you want to, but rice is heavier than you think. And sometimes the rice type had more sugary content than bread.. So yea, not really a good snack. But if you use the quality rice for snack... = =) well it's up to you
>.>); I’m buying “premium sushi rice” to substitute my craving for my regular bowl of Japanese rice...it’s good just plain but since it’s expensive, I have long grain white jasmine for fried rice and medium grain brown rice for regular meals. I don’t eat rice everyday (yesterday I had two meals with bread as main starch) so having a little variety is nice.
Wow you all had a conversation while I was gone. @Darkness04 I like spicy food but I agree sometimes it’s just too hot. It’s unnecessary and all it is, is the burn in your mouth. @OnceandFutureLurker is banana ketchup made out of bananas? Or do you put ketchup on bananas?
made out of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banana_ketchup. as for me the only ketchup i use goes on meatloaf which i then bake. barbeque sauce is my codiment of choice for foods
