Well maybe it was due to playing with friends and never getting too far that I had such fond memories back then.

Seriously tho now that I play it, I can write an essay about its flaws

It's more fun when playing with friends though, that's for sure.

I played through it a few months ago at 60% FPS on PCSX2... Gosh, it was terrible.

Though in all honesty, I still had fun in Death Valley, if the entire game was like Death Valley, I think I could have enjoyed it a lot more.

The problem was that Dry Land onwards had trivial bosses and humongous dungeons that took forever to be cleared... It was such a mindnumbing game...

And well, the gameplay got old really quickly since there was basically no depth to it at all.

2 and 3 had a few nice additions here and there along with new bothersome stuff but world 1 is definitely still best of the lot.

I liked World 2, but it was kinda clunky...

World 3 OTOH... Honestly, I hated its gameplay to its core. The only thing that helped me play that game until the end was the Card Game, because that was actually very very fun~

Honestly, if someone released a standalone game with the exact same mechanics as that card game, I'd easily buy it! xD

But the game itself... *pukes blood* It was terrible.

It's like how I use to watch digimon but nownuou watch it your like....

The Digimon anime is still great! It aged super well! >.<

The games... Not so much, but the anime is fantastic! I was like... Super into the reboot that was being released until last week!!! >.<

*curses Coronavirus that forced the anime to enter a hiatus*

@AliceShiki have you tried digimon digital card battle on the ps2. I haven't played it recently but I remember it being fun~

@Novela back then you watched whatever was on TV like digimon, card captor and inuyasha. Although I still love all of them

Ah, I never tried the Digimon Card Battle. I heard it was good, but different from the game from DW3... I should try it one day~

And yeah! Inuyasha and CCS are great too! \(^^)/

Yeah I love them as well but if I look back on it in my memories the animation was better and all until I actually watch a video on it ...
Also only anime on tv ever was yu-gi-ho

Ah, yeah, the animation certainly wasn't that great back then... >.>

But what matters are the plot and the characters! The rest are bonuses! >.<

Oh, and soundtrack! Digimon's OST is beautiful... <3
