Buy terraria. It's just under $10, but it honestly should cost like $20, heck even $30. Bought it a week ago and I've invested hours into it without getting bored. If you don't want to buy it, you can pirate it somewhere, it's a singleplayer, but its multiplayer contributes to 30% of the fun.

i actually already have terraria. Unfortunately, in those kinds of freeroaming games, i like to have my brother or a friend to play alongside because i cant think for myself

+1 for overpowered diablo. Try planetside 2 (though, it CAN get boring without anyone to play with, but it's an fps with a HUGE map for a multiplayer server.) I'm guessing you already know about Warframe.

Have you tried stardew valley? Its not free but its interesting to play

Stardew valley is just a more stressful version of games like Harvest Moon or Rune Factory. I play Animal Crossing instead. Haven't played Path of Exile, but hearing that it plays like Diablo 3 doesn't sound so bad. IDK about Planetside 2

the ever passing of time the forced scheduling and need to continue to make money in order to access more gameplay and the ever rising need to continue talking to people and now im stressing really bad just thinking about it

Very similar. Some are more like a dating sim, others are more like an adventure game. And some others are completely chill and relaxed
