@pass1478 Simp is a slang insult for men who are seen as too attentive and submissive to women, especially out of a failed hope of winning some entitled sexual attention or activity from them.

Would've been nice(?) if it actually is like that. In major social media, complimenting or liking a girl or guy would make you out to be a simp. It lost its meaning quite a bit of time ago. It's also not exclusive to only men.
