I've actually heard there's no content you can't play and clear completely F2P. You'll probably run into a lot of *things* you can't have. Characters, cosmetics, your personal best waifu, whatever. Idk. But you shouldn't be locked out of any *gameplay*.

AFAIK, anyway, GI is not Runescape.

I think the only thing you can't eventually get in Genshin are event characters, like Venti and Klee.The rest are in the permanent pool and you'd pull them at some point lol

Big problem is that to make most characters useful, you need few constellations.
