I mean, I kinda have an idea on how the main games end.

Sora takes down organization 13 (within the span of 2 games)
Within those two games Xeonort(?) wanted to reach kingdom hearts and used two different methods for it. The 7 princesses and collecting hearts. There is also meaning in the numbers 7 and 13, but no need to go into that here.
Xeonort orchestrated all of it through time travel by creating multiple pieces of himself by implanting himself into others. (This really required a lot of confidence in himself due to the memory wipes that would result after the time traveling ended)
This also explains why he went to the trouble of turning everyone into nobodies, so he could have containers for pieces of his heart or try to. Compatability
And, all of this started by taking over that one guy (Terra?) and then becoming that other guys apprentice. I believe Ven created a big set back which is why it became more complicated than it was originally meant to be too??
A rough outline can be understood from playing the first game, 356/2 days, dream drop distance, and the one with aquaa.
The small details are missing though, and the reason why he wants Kingdom Hearts is also vague, but the premise is pretty straight forward. The hard part is just remembering it all due to the time grap between all the games.
Truthfully, I believe the side games provide a lot of the important back story that isn’t in the main games. That’s probably why it wasn’t all that difficult to grasp for me.
