Look, there's got to be a word in our native tongue that says about surrendering. Its not like we never retreat to a battle.

Holy Sht. We actually don't have a word for surrender. Google translate eng to cebucano(i think it means bisaya) and when i search for it, it literally didn't give me a language for surrender.

was this all a ruse to get your country's people never to surrender?

I don't know. I just want to find a word in our language that speaks of surrendering myself to sleep but since i can't, i can never sleep.

Thats tagalog for Give up. Actually, i just found this out from a youtube but we don't actually have a word for surrender in our native tongue. My bro even said that because surrender isn't in our vocabulary and we never give up on things. Which is why i don't make clear and reassuring promises i don't keep.

Well that's true, I think it's because of our history as being 'colonized' into becoming independent state.

So it's not surprising we don't have an equivalent word for 'surrender' as that would make us in a passive.
