I suspect it was to make the greek gods more human, more natural.. or just to have a reason to tell stories about them, but they all have their own faults, vices and problems ~
....well, zeus, let me say it this way:
The main reason it's called the chaos family is because the main chunk are my children; currently 23(one of which is myself).
....what they do within(or sometimes outwards going) that grouping, is the chaos?
@Tilgarial *PTSD shivers* I've had my share of father figure, don't think I'd digest another one so well XD... also you are your own son? Predestination thing?
Hahaha~
*pat pat*
I dunno if i even work that much as a father figure for those that i do already have. Maybe a bit of a pillar once in a while, at most~
As for why I'm my own son (and daughter)... that is a story of olden times; with a realistic explanation, and a more mythologically oriented one
I'll tell you tigers origin story. His great grandfather used to hang out with a yellow bear that had on a red shirt and no pants. A bipedal pig, a rabbit, an owl, and a depressed donkey. As for who the lineage stems from. That is for you to make up
Okay, so thanks for praising the cat. As for the one saying that Hades is acceptable I want to refute _ all of them are bastards beyond our rescue. And come on! Wouldn’t you want for once to be a persona of them so you can stop some of their disturbing actions?
Zeus the biggest of asses was a shape-shifting rapist, Aphrodite was a war mongering scoundrel, Poseidon was a petty prick who would cause disasters if he got pissed (also a rapist), Athena cursed someone who won against her in a competition (quite tame), etc.
Hades did his job, punishing those who go against death and other stuff. The only notable bad thing he did was kidnapping Persephone who he was in love with, he treated her as an equal and never really forced her into doing anything apart from imprisoning her in his place, and she eventually fell for him.
