I posted 1k words/month for about 13 months, those were my grinding days that allowed me to go from 2k to 15k~

The rest was just time and posting on whatever I felt like it, eventually it reached 20k~

Those last 5k took 18 months, for the record.

I think I do remember a blog of yours saying that there was a time when nuf became a huge time sink for you.

Everytime the thought of grinding for messages comes into mind, I'm always reminded that there aren't much threads to grind messages in. I don't think I could make a thread particularly interesting either so those thoughts don't produce much results. I guess I'll just let time do its thing.

And well, if you want to grind messages, what you need to do is post at whatever thread you can think of a reply for, not at what threads you actually want to post at~

It's really a conscious effort to get that high... >.>

Another thing that can help is becoming active on LCDs of novels you read, they give you at least one free message every time the novel updates. Though you need to force yourself to write something there even when you have nothing to talk about~
