I propose a walk of shame for anyone that even remotely disobeys the strict societal norms.

As the architect of this idea I eagerly volunteer to subject myself to this humiliation.

But what's the walk of shame gonna do if they're just... shameless?

It will instil shame into the watchers, those people are too far gone.

Indeed, that makes sense. Second-hand embarrassment is also effective.

What if those people get off on making others feel shame by being shamed? We need a way to feel to make the shamers also shamed to stop this cycle.

They get off on your confusion make sure to hide it.

How wretched... they commit shameful deeds for the sake of walking the walk of shame, making others ashamed, and shamelessly getting off it, causing confusion that they also get off of.
