Early on there is a really big problem you face. For example, you are of age ten or eleven, and you don't know how to see things from what perspective. At that point, inheriting a perspective to look at things really helps.
Like our country was under British colonialism, and before that, it was under other foreign rulers. At this point, you could see why I decided to go with his point of view, and then decide what's right and what's wrong. Like I decided to discard my father's conservative ideas and a bit of paranoia he has on religion. (he is religious)
No, I understood what you were saying but now that I think about it, I didn't have an influential role model growing up. so I have more of my own opinion and have more contrasts than similarities with my family
I think you might have noticed it but lemme share a fun fact. Countries which had been exploited in the past by foreign rule, or the countries which were better off in past and got worse with time are more likely to have stronger right-wing sentiments than other countries.
For example, look how China(not right-wing) but still has such strong sentiments for being different than what they used to be under foreign rule.
14-15 (now i'm 17)
I come from a country that was never colonized and sacrificed everything for its independence, my country refused to lose its independence.
now that you think about it you might be right
