it's the OST of a Turkish teledrama I'm watching. First, the Turkish Ost then our language version (I'm watching the Sinhala dubbed one)

It's both sad. The Turkish story is about a group of orphan girls. The Turkish song is an orphan girl pleading for her father to come from wherever he is and get her from the orphanage which is a cold place. The sinhala song is a father saying how it's impossible for him to reach his daughter and how she will have to face the cruelty of life alone.

It sounds like he is dead

Yep, most of the girls' parents are dead, but some are in the orphanage because their only living parent (usually father) is in jail and relatives don't want to take care of those kids.
