Why weird?

Oh wow I should check here more often, didn’t think anyone would respond. But anyways it’s getting weird cuz I feel like I’m stuck in a quagmire y’know the program I wanna get into only accepts 20 people a year and my grades definitely don’t make me stand out so I’m just all over the place.

Oof that's a tough one. What other criteria can you think of is in your hands to make you stand out? Like a letter of motivation? Projects you've done to be put in your resume/cv?

Yes but I’m still not confident enough. I just have to finish my prerequisites and apply to see and if I don’t get in then there’s always next year .
