At first, I thought like that. He was smart and cunning, a bit misterius. He was a professor.But in the last arc 4 he said his reason and how he lived in hatred all this time.
When he was going to get executed, all his evil value are gone. So it's time for MC to go. The system gave him a few minutes (10 minutes or 30 minutes, I forgot). So MC asked the system to let his soul out his body. Then he went to ML in his soul form and said goodbye. He saw ML get injection and then he went to the next world.

I have read until arc 7, let me share it with you all.. -arc 5: ML was 4 or 5 years old kid while MC was a young man. Later ML was a young man while MC was already a middle age man. It this world MC had suspicion that ML was the same person. He started to have feeling for ML and stray from his focus to finish the task. - arc 6 : ML was a father while MC was his adoptive son. At the start of this arc, the system was gonna erase his memory of MC's previous tasks. So MC wrote a diary about al his tasks. In this arc, MC was a crying bag and ML like to bully him. Later when MC died, ML read his diary. ( MC really love birds, the real bird and those " birds", ML made a private zoo for him so he could see many birds) -arc MC was a doctor specialist "bird" lol. ML was another doctor. Because he read MC's diary, he knew about MC. In this arc he had a split personality. Some time he was ML1,2,3,4,5,6, or 7. - arc 8, MC was a bird, a dead bird.
I just start reading this arc so I don't know much. Apparently, because ML looking for MC, it made everything in a mess. So MC thrown into supernatural world. He became a dead bird. Only his soul, so no one could see him and he was trapped in his cage. Even people who could see him thought he just a bird so they ignored him.
What’s up with all those birds at the end??? Arc 6: doesn’t system knows that MC is writing down all his tasks in the diary? Did ML build the zoo before or after MC died? Arc 7: did MC bring the diary with him? Or does ML remember about the past arcs?

MC stayed in private hospital a few years. The hospital located in same place with the zoo. - arc 7, MC didn't bring his diary, so he forgot everything. He thought it was his first task. ML 1,2,3,4,5,6 knew about the past tasks. Only ML 7 didn't know, so he hate MC at first cause he didn't remember what happened when he changed to ML1, 2,3 4,5,6. Later, they became one. - Yes, MC really like bird. One day he drunk and said to ML that he wanted to see bird and touch its head. Lol. When he became a doctor specialist "bird" he saw all kind of bird but he thought ML's bird was the king of all bird.
Yes, because he read the diary he knew that he met MC in the previous tasks as another person. In this arc, each ML were a rival to get MC. But then MC said that he love all of them. So they became one. Later ML told MC that it was his 7th task and his target was always him.
Arc 5, system tell MC that when ML of arc 3 (the 2x tintin one) finds out what happened, he cut his stomach open
