lost all data on ch 1 when my breaker tripped 2 days ago, so I have been lazy the past 2 days, figured I might as well ask that question now, before I draw up the stats of the MC
oh, before you ask, yes there is no HP system, would be kinda stupid if you could just be super high level and a sword strike directly to your body now no longer deals much damage to you because you have 9999 hp lol

here is the stats of his eldest sister (all characters will have different base stats)

IF there is popular demand, I can create/use a good exp system, that uses actual numbers, and set up a compendium of sorts for monsters they fight, like, each goblin gives 20exp, so if the story says he kills 5 of them, and he needs 100 for the level, he will level up. (consistency, but way way way more work, still fun.)

 

For the gain of stats, I think the best is a mix of two systems.

First, gaining a fixed number in each stats with each level. And then, a way to specialize, by giving points to distribute, making it possible to gain stats by activity (e.g. +strength by swinging your sword or +intelligence by meditation) or receiving additional stats from the class.

 

I wasn't really planning on adding classes, but specialized stats is still good. for example, at lv 10 you get a point that you can add to any of the stats, that point gives you a passive increase in the stat selected every time you level from then on.


gaining stats from activities is fun but too ass pull, though if people ask for it I don't mind doing it
