It’s something like superhuman, [x element] bender, all these are potential words but I just know that there something that sounds way better that not coming to mind rn smsh.. it has to go with for example metal【异能者】, lightning【异能者】 Right also how to y’all usually contact the author of a story you wanna TL to ask for permission :/ Say author posts on jjwxc, how does one contact them if no contact info is given?

You often see these in apocalypse stories. Mutants are what the English are used to. Have a look at Isekai/alternate Tokyo stories for other terms. Usually they use their own new nouns or just ability users.
