Think "I'm really a superstar" but in Ancient China setting. It was definitely revolutionary at its time and its still one of the best written ones even now with all the clones of this genre. Plus this would be nice chance as well for the western readers. Description (if you can find one): A man was transported to Ancient China and eventually became a servant of a declining household without a male heir. He utilized his wits and modern knowledge to help the household and eventually become trapped in the sea of political turmoils of the period. It is more comedic/romance than anything else. Disclaimer: I would actually do this if I wasn't already doing Emperor's Domination and Spirit Vessel. A good translation of this will be extremely popular if this is an incentive since it pleases both the CN crowd and the JPN crowd.

This is not very friendly to MTL - the amount of poetry and flowery language in this novel is astounding since it is historical China after all.
Googling the name would give you a lot of the images of the girls. Not all of them are official arts from this series, but the majority are. Also there is a drama and a manga so you can ignore other images.
Are either of those translated? How does the drama differ from the novel? Because I remember the A Step into the Past drama diverging quite significantly from the novel.
