Has anyone heard of or read this book? I'm currently listening to the audiobook (on ximalaya) - nearing the end and was wondering if anyone else have read this! No, it's more referring to the look of a woman's hair being bound by a hairband. Something like: Spoiler or Spoiler I think the title refers to this, but with a more modest hairstyle and black hair. Of course, with a more Asian face too. This is one of the covers of the novel: Spoiler
hahaha XD no hair fetish or weird stuff XD The MC has this thing about finding someone who can "bound her hair" forever - metaphorically. Meaning someone who will love and be with her forever - one to one (this is set in ancient China-like country). Quick intro: Novel starts off with MC's soul being sent into the prime minister's daughter's body by Ming Wang's (King of Hell's?) son - Ming Yan. When she "woke up" in the body she realised she was in the middle of an xxx scene with Chu Sang - the original owner was actually being raped however she didn't know she was being raped and thought this may be her husband so she just went along with it ... After the deed was done Chu Sang revealed that her "father" was actually tortured and placed in this big pot thing and forced to watch his daughter being raped ... Chu Sang then basically forces her to kill her own father to "end his misery". After that she was thrown into a brothel and was "auctioned" off. In the brothel is where she meets "Gentlemen Yu". She of course uses her smarts to get herself out of situations - and in the process makes a lot of men fall for her. --- This is not your typical transmigration novel where its smooth sailing with evil protagonists left and right or have to fend off "Evil step sisters". It has layers and layers of scheming and a lot of things happening at the same time. Also if you don't read any spoilers, I think you'll have a hard time figuring out who she ultimately ends up with. I just finished listening to the audiobook and it was a journey ... had to pause a few times in between because it was so heavy. There's deaths, marriages, pregnancies, betrayals, heartbreaks and much more. BUT it does have a happy/content ending =)
