I've only skimmed through the side stories but got lucky all i was wondering about was explained there Spoiler: Why fl died She was poisoned with arsenic. Ml's uncle sent many assassins and tried to poison him many times to get the duke title, that evening in particular he had a maid poison the salad bc everyone knew it was what ml used to eat but couldn't predict that fl would switch with him Spoiler: Did ml love fl in tl1? He did, it started slowly bc he has pstd from going to war since he was 14 but he noticed that being with fl helped him heal. Sadly he suffered from many betrayals, so for a long time he was in denial of his feelings. At the same time fl was starting to distance herself bc she was exhausted and when she found out she was being suspected of wanting to run away like previous managers, they had that argument before dinner.
