This story is crazy. I don't understand what is being said here. Infuriates! Questions: 1) What is the strength of the heroine? 2) Why can't she sleep with the emperor? And what is impossible? Is it possible to have an intimate relationship? Can't get pregnant? Pregnancy is fatal to her? Why not?
I think this is because in the novel Roxana is described as having poor health due to her training and butterflies.
Roxana is kind of slowly killing herself due to the butterflies/poison alone. I agree with @Mira_bee in that I think it's a deliberate choice to show how her lifestyle has been impacting her health.
Um well, does this have any official translation?since it’s an original manhwa it would be good if we could read it on webtoon like “your throne”...by the way I read a few chapters on harimanga..although the translation is indeed bad but more than the translation itself it feels like the storytelling is really unsatisfying ..like the art is good and all but the conversation and quotes feels really unorganized..also this manhwa feels heavily inspired to the point that it’s originality seems dead
So, we have some information: 1) the empress can redirect wounds from herself to others. Or even wounds from any body to another body? 2) the emperor loves the empress. 3) the empress cannot sleep with the emperor because she will lose her strength?
I wish this story was translated officially it is a very interesting and sometimes it can be very confusing so if you reading it from a fan translate you do not enjoy it I was reading it from a fan translate and it was very difficult that I had to drop it I'm waiting for it to get translate officially.
I read from the another unofficial translation source and it's pretty good actually but there are only up to 19 chapters. I'm not sure of the frequency of the release, I think it's 1 chapter every 8-10 day. I can't get the raw or being updated with the raw because this is marked as 15+ on kkp and it takes a whole process to work with kkp and provide proof that I'm over 15, my korean isn't there yet unfortunately These are things I gathered from 19 chapters: Spoiler: Characters Carlmond Dehart: the emperor of the Dehart empire. Quite a cunning and ruthless man (me like ) but a simp for Lobelia. He blushes and becomes very gentle when he's with her. Lobelia Dehart (previous last name was Negrad): I believe she was adopted and not a real daughter of Duchess Negrad. I think she lived in the church before and some incident happened which led to Duchess Negrad adopting to use her power. Her power is to transfer her wounds to others, even if it's not her own body (this gets revealed in chap19). The reason why she gets married to the emperor even tho she can't sleep with him is because she was ordered by the Duchess to get close to the emperor and use her power to steal the emperor power. She's also a two-faced person. She's sweet and kind in front of others to build a good image but she's a manipulative and calculative person. That's why everyone adores her so much. She's the Duchess's puppet but at this point, not sure if she realizes this and tries to fight the Duchess or not. Belial Negrad: blood-related son of Duchess Negrad. Even though he is the Duchess's real son, he looks nothing like her but Lobelia, who is just a nobody, resembles the Duchess like 2 drops of water so dude really be jealous out of his mind. He probably also bullied her when they were young but Blair came to the rescue so he hates her even more. He's a mama boy. Duchess Negrad: now this woman is a real bish. She adopted Lobelia for a purpose and she mentally abused Lobelia, like feeding her poison to make her hurt so much that Lobelia had to resort to killing another being to escape from the pain. She also trained Lobelia to not think about things like love, other people's lives, etc, "trivial things" I believe she did all of this to get revenge on the royal. Blair Bertrand: commander of the Knights of Negrad. She came to the duchy when she was little because of an incident (I don't think this was mentioned in details) so she's been with Lobelia for a long time now. She loves Lobelia like a sister and she's willing to do anything to help her. Roman Minaruk: son of Duke Minaruk, has a gambling addict and was the one who gave Belial the imperial palace map that was passed down from generation to generation in the Minaruk family. Lily (I don't know her last name): Lobelia's maid in waiting I think. Spoiler: Chapters 18, 19 Summary of previous chapters Lobelia was (almost) assassinated in the previous chapter, the culprit is her brother. He received the map of the palace from Duke Minaruk's son. He then gave the map to the Minaruk's supreme guild to kill Lobelia. Carlmond went to the guild, killed everyone there and but kept a mouse so he could manipulate it later. He then invited the Duke Minaruk's son, Roman, and scared him so he would get into a trap aka getting freaked out and finally went to the mastermind for help. Carlmond put the mouse in the carriage so could watch Roman. While the emperor is watching Roman, Lobelia hears the news that Roman is summoned to the palace and is able to deduce that Roman has leaked the map and Belial is behind all of this. She also knows that Carlmond knows about this and she knows that he is using his ability to watch Roman. But she doesn't understand why Belial would hire the assassins while knowing that they would be killed off easily. Roman goes to find Belial, hoping that he would help but Belial refused. Roman, of course, was angry and asked how Belial could do this to the people who have been loyal to him but Belial just says that he's the one who handed out the map. Roman gambled but doesn't have any money so he stakes his family's magic stone mine, which means even if he gets out of this investigation somehow, his family wouldn't survive and they'd have to wander the streets. This shows that Roman has no power over Belial and he'll have to follow the investigation's course. Chapter 18 Blair helps Lobelia get rid of the dead bodies, he's angry and find the Duchess to ask her why she does this to her own children. She agrees that she has a hand in this (manipulating Belial to kill Lobelia) but her purpose isn't to kill Lobelia (like for real? ) and this is only half of her plan. Back to the palace, Lily is helping Lobelia change. Everyone notices her hair look different and it's braided. Lily mentions that the braid looks as beautiful as when Betty made it (Betty is one of the first people to get killed by the assassins). Lily wonders where Betty has gone cuz she's nowhere to be found but Lobelia remembers finding her corpse. She felt bad for Betty then but quickly dissuade herself to not care about it (aftermath from the Duchess's manipulation ig ). She then gets out to the garden. She looks at the braid again and is confused of her feelings (she knows Carlmond is affectionate towards her but she has a hard time accepting it because she doesn't know what this feeling is and what love feels like. The Duchess also educated her that even tho the royals have the golden dragon's power, they're only human, they're evil and they have greed and they will not stop at any means to get what they want so I think this is why Lobelia puts guard up against Carlmond). After that, she receives a message from the Duchess through the crow and starts the plan. Chapter 19 Lobelia secretly puts a hypnotic incense called Garton Todis in Carlmond's bedroom. Colorless, odorless, paralytic and leave-no-traces kind. It's used as anesthetic for powerful and huge monsters. The greater the power, the betters the effect of the incense and the longer the person sleeps. Usually it'll wear off in 1-2 hours but Carlmond has been asleep for hours which means he holds a lotttt of power. Lobelia then remembers back when she was young, the Duchess would educate her about the previous emperor, Karein Dehart. The Duchess was a commoner but was born with magical powers so she was able to join the knights after academy. She constantly joined wars for territorial expansion and she witnessed the power of the golden dragon for the 1st time from the previous emperor. People described the previous emperor as the sun and he was so powerful that everyone worshiped him. The duchess also pledged her allegiance to him because of that but over time, she realized he was an evil and selfish human. He killed someone that was precious to the Duchess (it's not revealed who but ig we'll know more later). So ever since, she had been imprinting in Lobelia's mind that she's the last key to break this aka not letting the royals hurting other people. Back to the Negrad duchy, the Duchess revealed her plan to Blair, including why she adopted Lobelia and why she had Lobelia marry Carlmond, instead of transferring deformities, Lobelia will transfer Carlmond's power to her. Lobelia looks at Carlmond and says she's sorry for what she's doing to him next. Then she kisses him, her eyes shine red and some sort of red/pinkish light glows. (so ig the power stealing would come from kissing or having intercourse, maybe that's why she's been putting off sleeping with him to avoid revealing her ability) I'm gonna go look at the raw for chapter 20 now and see what's going on, hopefully something good/interesting cuz this is 15+ manhwa

Thank you! I just read up to chap 30, author has gone on hiatus after. they'll be back with the rest, they didn't specify a return date tho. But a lot of things unfold in 20-30 and I found out that Blair is actually a woman, not a guy Imma go fix my other post to reflect this and I'll spoil content of chap 20-30 later if you guys want.
