    I've only realised that for all the novels I've read, so few are first person. The ones I can recall except for the ones stated above are 'The Grandmaster Strategeist' , 'Taint' and 'The Lame Daoist Priest'.

    Maybe check the JP novel tag? I can’t think of any off the top of my head but I know a lot of the 1st person ones are Japanese.
