Thoughts about this unfinished product? Note, I'll be adding a lot of changes, and I already have. Added some more fun objects, such as bouncing platforms and other things. Will try to add enemies, but I've created everything from texture to scripts myself (Except for the wooden thingy that could be seen on elevators, but I will replace it later) 3D modeling and animations are hard to make, so whenever I try, the result is always a bit weird. Will also try to add in some time rewind functions for later levels.
Pretty interesting.. now I'm itching to play some games again I like how it's on a 1st person perspective
About that... It's not like I'm too lazy to make it 3rd person... Alright, it is .. Haha I'll see if I can make it 3rd person later on.
Took me a second to match the song but looks good so far. I think working on the movement is much more important than anything else. All the jumping seems very straight?
I can help if you need anything~~ Ah, and I think its better in 1st person~ It's a little annoying 3rd person in Unity... Principally Animations ;---;
Personally, I prefer 3rd perspective rather than 1st perspective for this kind of games. 1st perspective made me dizzy after a while, and it is easier to control movement in 3rd person view.
It feel like it lack momentum? Basically what it does is running and jumping to reach the destination and avoid the obstacle, I guess? Or is it more than that? Anyway, the player have to had a good sense on timing and spatial awareness on this one, or this will be frustating on the second level. Though, that constant speed helps. I agree with shio with third person perspective. Though, as long as player can gauge the distance accurately, it does not matter.
not be a critic but i think you should change the background to something brighter and make it scrawling
Its a basic 3D game project in my eyes you could probably put it on itch.io if you finish with adding your current idea then you would need people to play test it which make itch.io perfect.
WHAT WHAT I SIT THROUGH 3 MINUTES AND YOU FAILING OVER AND OVER AT THE AXE PORTION, ONLY TO HAVE MY SATISFACTION TAKEN AWAY BECAUSE YOU WANTED TO PLAY WITH THE FALLING BLOCKS?
If you add hands and feet Mirror's Edge style, would be nice. I don't really like that sort of view due to the fact I am challenged perceptually.
