Looking for novels where the male lead is an interesting/well developed character on their own. Or at least shows maturity or doesn’t have their entire life revolve around the MC? I’m pretty tired of seeing one dimensional love interests who seem like their only goal in life is to be in a relationship with the MC. Doesn’t matter if its BG or boys love. Bonus if the novel doesn’t have much face-slapping and the side characters are also interesting. Yandere can be good but it has to be pulled off well with an appropriate tone (I prefer creepier vibes). Some novels I liked with good ML’s are: Fantasy Farm, Mr. Melancholy wants to live a Peaceful Life, Death Progress Bar, Daily life of a Dom boyfriend.
