How many of y'all do that? And how long have you done it for and why. Also, for the peeps who've been doing it for years or months, any adverse effects y'all noticed? Btw, I've done it for five years and haven't died yet.
APs are high school in the US right? Just wait til you get to your upper division college classes. You'd be ecstatic if you got 5 hours of sleep.
What's sleep? My cat sleeps on my behalf. As for adverse health effects, plenty. You don't feel it as much when you are young, but as you get older the effects creep up on you.
That sounds about right, I have had super busy days, so all my reading/gaming time is from 11pm to when I cant keep my eyes open.
When I got out of HS and took a year (close to two years) off before going to college I would go to bed at 8-9 in the morning and wake up at 11-12 every day. Fun times. Now, I have slight insomnia and it's harder to get to sleep.
I think babies have to sleep more, the younger they are. Well unless you have the [No Fatigue] skill.
I dream of having a full 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep. Well, I should be happy with 4 hours of sleep... At least I could still sleep, right?
Mostly just 3,rarely 30 mins and since coffee has barely effect on me, i decide to brew cocktail using energy drinks, coffee and a bit of sugar(about a bag worth). I think i'm doing fine(aside from the insanity from time to time).
Typically get around 4h of sleep as a college student taking upper division classes. Weekends being a luxury get me around 5h and once in a blue moon 6h.
Effect: My sleep time is a Dang Mess now.....I can easily sleep for 10 minutes but feels like few hours, or few hours and feels like only few seconds, or something. And my Body is Dang tired enough to easily sleep whenever I lie down, if I know I can relax then I can sleep like a log just few seconds later without my conscious even realize that I was sleeping. Now I don't have a fix time for sleeping since my body clock is probably broken beyond repair. Nowadays, I'm just glad if I can get a sleep, no matter how much time I can get since it doesn't really matter anymore... A random side effect that I don't know if anyone else also get it: Maximum sleep in the range of 8 hours. For whatever reasons I don't know, whenever I try to sleep, and if I sleep like a log due to being really relax, I always wake up after 8 hours+ maxed and never reach 9 hours. I did time my sleep several times when I get breaks so noticed this somehow.
Do not, even though I go to college and my schedule is packed, especially on the first three days where I am about 9 - 10 hours in school straight without breaks, I take my time to have at the very least 6 - 7 hours of sleep. Because if I do not have enough sleep, my cognition and thinking ability gets lower and the learning is more arduous. The tasks completion rate is also lower. The additional 2 - 3 hours of being awake are just not worth it. edit: I mean, with a good enough sleep and nice morning routine, I actually kinda understand the lectures.
When you say a bag, do you mean actual bag, eg a kilo or one of those tiny pocket ones with maybe 1-2 grams in them? Because if it's a kilo, how big are the cocktails. I recently started sleeping more, almost 7 hours a day, and I am feeling far more tired than with only 5 hours a day, I'm guessing that my body can now recognise it's tired. That, or it aged 10 years in a few months.
