Recommendations A Different Isekai Novel

I want an Isekai novel in a European medieval-esque setting of swords and magic. I have several requirements though.

1. MC isn't dense(he'll notice if someone is attracted to him). He is the kind of person, that'll get laid if he isn't alkready, and won't get needlessly embarassed over
2. MC is smart, or at least above average in intelligence.(I don't want anything that'll make me facepalm or bang my head against the wall. He should be pragmatic.
3. MC isn't a wimp, a wuss or a pussy. He has balls. He has mental fortitude. He has a backbone.
4. MC is willing and able to kill. No moral dilemmas. No pangs in his conscience. If the situation calls for it, then kill. No needlessly sparing enemies. He can even be a hero if he wants(as long as he is pragmatic).
5. MC isn't naive.
6. No comedy, no cutesy bullshit, no tsundere, no fanservice, no "kyaa~". None of that BS.
7. MC is like this from the start. Not like Arifureta, where he was initially wimpy. He starts out like this.
8. No Plot armour. No narrative causality. No protagonist power. MC doesn't have to be unlucky, but he's no more lucky than the next guy. The Universe doesn't aid him. He has no fate or destiny, or nakama power or Deus Ex Machinas. No lucky coincidences.
9. World isn't dumbed down for MC. He doesn't monopolise working brains.

There are few Harems that I can tolerate. I prefer if there's no harem, but if it is handled well, like in Mushoku Tensei, then I can accept it. I also love Madan no Ou to Vanadis.

MC doesn't have to be emotionless or a loner, or even sociopathic. Just able to kill if needs be. As a hero, he'll be a pragmatic one.

MC can be a hero, a demon lord, a Prince, a peasant, he can be anything, as long as he is a combatant. And he is decently strong.

Overlord would have fit, but at his core, Satou is still a bit wimpy from his monlogues. He also has an inferiority complex in regards to his own competence.

Novel doesn't have to be japanese. If it's an OEN written in the style of Japanese fiction, it'll work as well.

Mushoku Tensei, Death March, etc don't fit the bill.

I envision, that if the work I'm requesting was a manga, it'll be Seinen not Shounen.

Mercy is a privilege for the strong. The weak have no right to grant Mercy. If he decides to be merciful to his opponents(key is on decides. Not unwilling to kill them, but being magnanimous enough to spare them), then he should have the strength such that it doesn't hurt him in the long run.


Most reincarnation or transported, usually involve the MC being a "good Japanese citizen"; a character I want nothing with. So unless someone like Light Yagami, Lelouch, Akiyama is being reincarnated/transported, I prefer we skip it.

Again I don't want him to grow into these traits. I want him like this from the start.

P>S I'm Xenophobic towards Chinese works only loved Release that Witch. I find Warlock of the Magus World likeable. Both of them were set in European Fantasy settings. I don't really care much for the chinese culture and the entire cultivation franchise.

I'll accept Korean novels as well, but I'm first and foremost a Japanophile.

Tl;dr MC is "decent".

I prefer an MC who has magic though.

I don't like stories where everything just works out for the MC.

I don't mind stories in which the MC dies.

I dropped Seoul Station Necromancer, because everything was just working out for the MC's benefit.

 

the Dungeon Seeker , its different from any isekai . its not harem but its a little bit dark , OKAY its dark buts it's different compare to another isekai . much more like Arifureta but way better and darker , i know its not like what you wishing for but its good if you wanna read a nonmainstream isekai .

 

I think Akuyaku Reijo Ni Koi Wo Shite fits too.

I'm not a "good" person. I consider myself neutral. I don't believe the world is white or black but different shades of grey.

I'm a shade on the darker side, and prefer characters with a similar colouring.

I don't like "good people".

 

I watched the Anime.

 

Ugh, too many restriction. Maybe elven blood fits. Too bad, the translation stop.

 

He's as smart as them. But he's much more altruistic and moral.

I much preferred the main antagonist of the series Yokoya Norihiko.

I could relate much more with him. His shade of grey, was much closer to mine.

 

I welcome dark.

Ah for Wortenia Senki since it's only started (only 12 chapter) dunno how it will turn out but MC don't particularly mind when he kill his enemies
