    To those in Southeast Asia (Malaysians, Singaporeans, Indonesians), I'm looking for this particular Doraemon series. It's actually two part. Number 18 was called "Nobita dan Dunia Ajaib" while the second part, number 21 was called "Perjalanan Mencari Cahaya". It's a story of how Nobita in his stupidity, ate a fairy fruit that causes death to humans. Nobita was then reborn as a Fairy of Light and Fairy of Darkness.

    In number 21, the Evil Fairy King was revived and Nobita returned to becoming a fairy. In the very end, it was revealed that both Fairy of Light and Fairy of Darkness was creation of an idealistic boy in the future and he returned to set things right.

    In both series, Doraemon's tools are still used, but they have the addition of magic in these two stories.

    It was widely said that these two stories are the best of Doraemon's/Nobita's Adventure mangas.

    Before you guys got all hyped about it, I must inform you that Fujio F. Fujiko never wrote this story. It was fanart with the name Fujio F. Fujiko slapped on the cover and sold alongside the legitimate Doraemon Adventures books. It was still the best stories of the whole series, though.

    So is there anyone who still have these titles? I think because of the rarity, you can sell it for at least 20 times the amount you bought it, which in Malaysia's case was around $3.50 (US$1).

    Finally someone posted something about this long-lost volume. It's been years since I've started searching for it and I've lurked everywhere (made an account just to reply here). I've read their second adventure, but I haven't the first one. As far as I know, you can't find it elsewhere in other languages since no one was able to recall this particular volume. If by some chance you find the volumes and have extras, please contact me. I think it was an amazing story for a fanwork.

    Try to search it on dedicated sites or on sites where people sell stuff. Also, try to contact the library or book sellers or old people or... there are so many possibilites.

    It was about 15 years ago when I last read it.

    It's under plagiarizing works if I'm not mistaken, so not sure if there would actually be a legal channel to get it. I would love to get my hands on them though...

    I'am sorry, long time ago i love Doraemon. but when i grow up i realize something Doraemon Not "Robot that come from the future" but "Robot that come to destroy the future"

    Hahahaha, maybe older than me.. The 1st vol was already there for years (bought by my elder brother) when i was 5 yo and it was already translated.. Maybe vol 1 in Japanese was older than me..

    Then....search for every post about selling Doraemon. I've never read and I won't read it. And because of this fact I can bet that there are some people that will sell it withouth knowing about the fact that it was plagiarized.

    And I don't think that the library verifies if it's fake or not.

    idk if it's fake or not but i have complete daichohen doraemon collection (i think). Vol 18 and Vol 21 is totally not Nobita dan Dunia Ajaib and Perjalanan Mencari Cahaya. Honestly though...... these 2 comics are better than some of the originals
