    The anime didnt do that bad of a job, but I agree in most cases novel is better. Anime/manga tend to lack the internal details.

    zhanlong is not harem i think because until the story finish he just married whit lin wan er
    about dong cheng she just live together whit them
    and Zhan Long is light romance
    because 80% strory just about how to make him selft and the guild stronger and war with other guild or other country

    Shadow Rogue is harem....... because the mc have many women and alredy sleep with them
    the mc is very OP he can destroy the city and country with just his power
    if u like shura warths maybe u will like Shadow Rogue to because the story is 80% similiar
