So let me get this straight with the synopsis Old TL: MC was a saint but for some reason had to become a wicked woman to save the country... apparently? But at the same time, she came back waaaayyyy too early so decides to have some fun for a while and thanks to her new wicked chara, caughts the attention of whom I assume is the ML? is ML the so-called enemy leader?

Also, not to mention that she was so naive to rely too much on the god, and was easily manipulated by the kingdom. Maybe that's why the god refuse to speak further words and gave her a 2nd chance. The god wants her to saves the Holy empire that been rotten to the core by the greedy and wicked, a saintess duty is to save the people and to serve god. In a way, her wicked actions are actually fulfillment to her duty. I don't know though about the Emperor, bet the guy was the most trash of all character there.
I love how the MC seems so harmless that the guy her underlings kidnap for her thinks that she has also been kidnapped.
I kinda think something might have happened in the realm of gods... maybe a power struggle or something!
My theory was that Serife might got weakened due to worshipers distorted faith in him. The emperor of the holy empire was a trash, most of its citizens might never believe in him at all and he could only lend our former saintess his blessing, but as time pass he might got tired since his worshipers have yet to change and the empire slowly begun to collapse on its own. He shunned our Mc and decides to wait for her death, send her back in time to serve him by cleaning the trash that rots the empire from within and saves those who could become the figure of change.
