Anyways I'm making this thread to talk about what everyone thought of this piece of work~ I honestly loved it. It took me a week to read. I found myself hating characters in the book, and then feeling sorry for characters. This is one of the few books that has managed to make me feel real emotions for the characters. I honestly would recommend this to anyone. While I do know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I just feel that the author manages to suck you into his world hes created and keep you for the ride.
I have never suffered so much reading a novel principally in the final part that betrayals hurts so much demo daijoubu It's a Happy End his "disciple" is a asshole although
loooo, I know how you feel, you start to get invested into the characters, then it just BAM feels and hurt. you can't help but you "YOU F#$@ B$#%#$ ARGH!" I found myself coming to having a emotional breakdown just from reading this novel.
yeah but it was so good I couldn't stop to read Xiang Shaolong is a true man damn That guy is a true man!
I finished it, but skipped most parts and read the parts that are essential in the story line. Too much NTR especially at the first half of it.
I read it half way till the point where the ninja girl didn't get with the MC then skipped further to see what happens to the ninja girl if she died or not and ends up with her marrying someone other than the MC thus I dropped this novel. My favourite female lead disappointed me
While it does have a ton of NTR and a disgusting amount of waifus being killed... It's still worth a read~ Ah yes ninja waifu... it's okay we all had that character.. mine was the queen from the other country that he ended up having sex with in the carriage... I wanted her to stay~
I'_ve stopped reading it somewhere at the widow arc, when he had to train(?) that little kid. All that sex bored me - is that a story aboyt time travelling, martial arts or sex? Well, looks like both, but I've lost my interest. Maybe I'll give it a second chance but I don't know when.
My god when I read this and it destroyed me for months... Beware people who decides to read this, there's a lot of Betrayals, NTR, and DEATHS, like unbelievable deaths that doesn't make any sense! Not deaths on minor characters but deaths on his HAREM! The ending was good tho.. just letting you know that.
So recently I am hooked on this old wuxia novel A Step Into The Past and reach vol 20. I am reading the E-Pub version of this novel and on vol 20 chp 8 Dainty Beauty Xiang ShaoLong is talking with Feng Fei the leader of three great courtesan about poison on her silver ring, but on the next chp at chp 9 Delicate Trap it skip the scene and mentioning the dead of Meng Ao and other stuff that happening. I wonder if the E-Pub have some missing chp or it was really skipped on raw without any explaining what happen between Xiang ShaoLong and Feng Fei.
I don't really cry at this novel just disappointed because of the dead of his wives and maid. The most disappointed one is when Zhao Ya die. She already suffer quiet much and didn't have good end. why are you stop at that point? well sure the time when he went back to zhao is not that good part but it still good.
I don't know man, this slut i think betrayed him again and again and after some time she died. I didn't enjoy it as much as i did in the beginning, tragedy and NTR destroyed this novel imo. I mean how many of his wives died? 4? Too much to count? >.<
Not just her there will be more girls who will NTR him later as well mostly MC fault though cuz he just let it happen then even get jealous.

I stopped reading it cos someone spoiled the ending for me. I would have read it even then, but the end wasn't something I liked.
