She had leukemia but when she turned 20 her condition worsened .. She became weaker and had to be admitted to the hospital. She was always in a dazed state, so Ash, her attending Doctor introduced her to Novel Updates. That's when she met Nugget,the cold and calculating player, jerk and a rich bastard who was actually a closet otaku.Just when something is developing between the two, Shizu's childhood friend, Kip started to make his first move. How will Shizu deal with this situation when the death is just around the corner. Because of her frail body, she couldn't play sports so all she does in her spare time was read. Shizu enjoyed reading novels in NU. She later signed up to write her comments and opinions. She got so into it that she created a cheerful, strong and funny persona in Nuf. Shizu commented on "A Thousand Notes" novel and Nugget being an avid fan had a heated argument with her. Nugget had awoken a side of her that she didn't know it existed. She just couldn't accept losing this battle. They debated about "A thousand Notes£ novel atfirst but ended up derailing into a different topic so they got locked out of the thread. That was their first fateful meeting. Many days have passed, Nugget and Shizu clashed multiple times in the thread of the latest chapter discussion of "A Thousand Notes" novel again. That much interaction could be considered friends now. And so, Nugget got even more curious about Shizu. He started sending her pm's to exchange thoughts or opinions on the novel they were both reading. The two of them started chatting more and more... But there was an "unspoken rule". That is, "never ask about each other's personal life". It's not that they are doing it on purpose, the both of them just couldn't ask about the other's life. They must've sensed that the other is hiding it... Insiders said that Shizu was the one avoiding the topic. Nugget is a player who changes girls every now and then . He treats everyone coldly but is usually nice to beautiful and sexy girls. He is overconfident and loves himself a bit too much. But there's a secret that only his bestfriend, Ash, knows.. he is a closet otaku. He loves to read novels and hang out in nuf. He argues there, and spams people on his spare time.
