that would be awesome. It would be really different from anything we've read so far. The "villain" would become a victim of a misunderstanding. I wouldn't, of course, feel bad for the male lead because we are justified not to because of all the shitty male leads we have to read about.

Honestly, I think I only remember ONE novel with a satisfying revenge from the female lead, which was a chinese one (I forgot the name now). Most of the times the FL never get to execute revenge plans against the ML, the author always whitewashes them before that happens and the FLs also almost always do not have a spine to go ahead and give them shitty male some retribution.

 

I think you should read, evil knight manhwa.

This is unfortunate. I was hoping to start reading this one, but Saw the content has not updated since June. I’m not going to pay for advanced chapters for a book that will never be finished.

 

So we are not even sure who is the ML at this point right ?

Yikes these are some terrible ridibooks reviews
Most of them are just lamenting over wasted money. One thought the concept was fine but the story itself was extremely unenjoyable. Another says the process of the revenge is carelessly written and the MC gets with the ML rather abruptly / out of nowhere. At least the ML doesn't seem to be the Emperor or whoever.

More cries over how they couldnt get past the first book. Writing is very stiff. Characters think and react very unnaturally and ML is such a simp it's uncomfortable. I reached the review about the naive stuff and it seems the characters are too naive to survive in such a political intrigue setting and it was hard to get immersed when there is so little care for details.

One review straight up mocked the author's language use...just adding stuff like "my lord" at the end of a sentence doesn't make that formal court speak.....another mocks her ability to write while expecting money for it

These might actually be the harshest ridibooks reviews I've read so far eesh;; whoever tries to venture into this would be so brave hahahaha;;;

This novel is available in "COMICO" app idk about English version tho but seriously few days back I was obsessed with the novel but after reading the thread the passion just cooled down.... Thing went down from 100 to 0 really fcking fast.... I'm seriously disappointed...I really hope this novel doesn't gets manhwa adaptation plzzz
