Ah, I was expecting this to be a do-over story, not a reincarnation story. I wonder if he'll protect Earth from whatever destroyed Merva. Regardless, I expect that girl he gave the hairpin to to be in his harem.

C1: This is the school's shopping district. How is someone who's so rude to the students still able to have a business there? Most of these kids are not nobodies, and almost none of them will remain nobodies.

C4: "The Thunder Empress" 99% certain that this is his granddaughter, and 100% certain she'll be joining his harem.

That aside, I'm curious what that hairpin's powers are. Its definitely not weak.

I'm shocked that the girl wasn't a member of the club he wants to join. I wonder if she was and her leaving is what triggered the club's dissolution.

C33: I'm really struggling to see what it is that he's getting out of attending school that he couldn't get on his own after dropping out. He has enough money to live, a source of infinite crafting materials, more than enough ways to increase his powers, and a positive relationship with his preferred employer. Just what is the point in him still being there and wasting so much of his time on classes and school activities? Even if its just social interactions, I'm sure he could manage just fine without the school at this point.

C37: Why would you use a metal like that to make armor? Was it just meant for show or something?

C38: Yeah, there was never really any chance that he wouldn't fight the monster. I'm just wondering if its something that was created/summoned/whatever due to his shield.

 

It's not exactly Reincarnation...more like...uhhh...something like...Assimilation. Yep. Kind of similar to Solo Leveling.

 

Why didn't he just chuck the shield into its mouth and let the shield's resizing kill it?

Yes, Korean authors are inconsistent. I don’t even bother keeping a wiki of the powers and skills any more. Too annoying, and really, as long as the readers vaguely remember the power or skill mentioned a while back, they’re not really going to correct you.

The important thing is to get the FUNCTIONALITY correct. Given that the AUTHORS THEMSELVES get them confused, it is a zero sum game. As long as the readers remember something about how a skill or power worked in the plot, as an editor, I’m not sweating the small stuff.

 

Thats true specially when MC's status at the end gets really long. I mostly not read them all. Its just very annoying to see happen in one chapter and very early.
Maybe I got accustomed to TL notes saying (tl:yes it changed) something like that. I dont know anymore.
