Just started re-reading AWE again, and I was wondering- If he can upgrade things whenever he wants, only needing Colored Flames, why did he never refine a pill furnace? I mean, I understand why he wouldn't waste some of the higher tier flames on it, but One Colored Flames could still upgrade it a tier, and was pretty common, even in the Spirit Stream Sect.

I wouldn't call the romance 'decent', but there are a few (very, very few) good moments... But he is pretty much a kissless virgin till at least C818.. Maybe he has given or received a kiss once or twice.... at most..... Till now he always ran away from females, lol. To protect his life and "sanity".

 

So why does this novel got a harem tag ? Someone spoiled from chapter 5000 ?

 

Because he runs away from several women at once, I guess.... Pretty much a badass-jap-beta-MC... or something like that?

 

You could see the harem well before chapter 200. He didn't touch any of them, but you don't need to in order to get a harem tag.

There are a bunch of beautiful women in love with him and surrounding him. This is your classic japanese interpretation of a harem. You just got spoiled by chinese harems which actually mean what they say (eg: a group of lovers, or literally wives and concubines)

 

Chapter 853 - 854: Lord Bai becomes a man.... while sounding like a woman.

It was kinda funny, but I wish the author wouldn't suck so much at romance.
