First, he was envious, then jealous and he wanted to experience the same connections Mine had with her family, and this evolved subtly into something more. Kazuki sensei knows what she is doing - it is masterfully written. Basically, as stated before me: from a certain point he does everything for her, and not for Ehrenfest.

sorry I didn't correct the one above you. Its the epilogue of light novel 4-9 or Farewell to my Geduldhi SS ch459 Web Novel version. There are notable differences with the 2 versions. The meeting with Dietriend was added on the light novel version while the web novel version stop when he is about to arrive at Ahrensbach castle.
I look forward to reading that volume of the light Novel once they translate to English. But J-novel is just on volume 4 part 3 about half way through so I have a long wait . Till that I just re-read my favorite parts on the web novel but A lot of parts that Google translates are pretty rough lol.
How long does the engagement between Rozemyne and Wilfried last? And more importantly (for me at the moment), is Ehrenfest going to get some pushback from Klassenburg and Dunkelfelger for outright pushing Wilfried over Rozemyne?
New I think it lasted over two years. She was told about the engagement decision at the end of part 4 volume 2 after her first year at school. I don’t believe they got any pushback from the other territories since Silvester got approval from The King before any other higher territory could propose an engagement for her.
I really love the illustrations in the light novel. You can see in Rosemine’s face how she has grown a little and Ferdinand’s Expressions look a little softer in Part 5 volume 4. I look forward to reading the translated version when it comes out.

Question about the map. According to Ferdinand, there were 25 duchies pre-civil war and now there are 21. However, when I count the duchies on the map, there are 20 "free" duchies and 5 under management. Any idea if this is an error or which duchy is being considered in the 21?
