About Common sense of a dukes daughter translation

1 month ago, some guy started to release his horrible quality translation(Looks like machine translation) of this series, while the original translation doesn't drop this novel.
And yet moderators still don't do shit with it?? So Novelupdate accepts the fucking machine translation and anyone can interrupt the project which is still continuing to be translated huh?
I need an answer.

He pretty much took advantage of NU’s policy by getting a release of chapter 1 (illusion of starting from the beginning) then proceeding to just release the mtl of the latest chapter (okay since NU policy of past okayed release/update page) then mtling a large quantity to take advantage of ignorant and eager readers to poach the project and get the attention/revenue. Just auto-chrome mtl from raw site instead of being taken advantage of by these jerks. Spread the word.

Is this the one? There are some points:
-The translator(Asian Hobbyist) still haven't drop this series yet
-He(djurasiro) does not translate this from the beginnig.
-He does not have permission from the current active translator.
-His releases are not accepted.
-He translated 50 releases with Machine translation quality.
-He translated chapter 1 in 23/7/2018(dd/mm/yyyy). Japtem translation translated this series in 21/3/2016. Then suddenly he jump to chapter 125.
-What requirements?

 

This is also how Q abuse the rules for the novels they steal really.....I really think that NU policy need to be revised for cases like this.

 

So, as long as you release 50 chapters, no matter how bad your translation is or you just use Google trans copy and paste. It's fine?

No, not a chapter 1. The guy just need to release 50 chapters then he will be on NU. That's it. That's why the mass release for 50 chapters. And that's also how Q get on the novels that WW possessed. They stole WW chapters, then from where WW stopped, they mass released their own 50 chapters, then they got on NU above WW for that novel. It's a loophole that's Really Easy to abuse....heck, anyone can do it. But, because of etiquette and respect for translators that no one bother to do it. Only people that want to attract attentions like this guy doing common sense and Q would want to do it.

I looked back at the policy page and thought for I had lost my mind for a second as I thought I’d somehow missed reading that part. Realized it was probably added just then. Good to know my brain’s okay.

Anyhow, thanks for clarifying! Also good to know that obvious copy-paste mtls aren’t accepted (otherwise I’d have had to call someone to force your hand ).

 

I'm pretty surprised that because this is the first time I met this after 3 years since I started to know about NU.
I thought NU was very good at managing their members, but it's actually just that their members are mostly good guys.
