Spoiler From when I first started reading novels I basically despised novels and authors who killed of either the main male or female leads....it's okay if they both died though .....but I feel frustrated if one of them stays alive .... and Er Gen was never good at creating romance in his works ....his works are a little bit on the darker side , with vague romance ...which I hate the most. So ...I basically loved ISSTH ...but after reading ahead in the raws ....I now basically despise Er Gen .... all the relationships with possible love interests are so very vague .....although its seems clear at times that Xu Qing is the female lead....but at times it also seems like Chu yuan or Han bei and so on... and ....most of all he's also a female lead killer ..!!! I can't even remember how many times the guy killed poor Xu Qing ..!!! I mean on the day of their marriage ...she dies ..!!!??? it's like she's a ghost ...she comes and goes ...always so vague ..... yes ISSTH has good comedy ...but I think the tragedy is rather strong here, like we see in Xian Ni. Even more then all the comedy[SPOILER/] (I sincerely and deeply apologize to certain Mod for once again posting a really low quality thread that is not upto NUF standards ...really, I'm extremely sorry about posting something so low quality again.)
Eh I dislike tragedy myself but I have learn to deal with it also you might want to mention outside the spoiler that its ISSTH and Xian ni you are talking about people coming here to read will not know till they click through everything. Some people do not know Er Gen is the author for those stories. The author does look pretty bad with romance but at least it not a random harem where you do not see the heroines even if they love the MC. In this one he just avoids them w/o getting in a relationship that leaves them hanging which is good. The one time he does stick around it ends in tragedy but at least it has somewhat a amount of closure.
done.... yah....er gen ...is really pretty bad with romance ....with him love and romance is a heavy profound concept and a subject of great philosophy .... that's why I like Tang jia san shao's works....he does everything so well...specially romance ....in his novels romance actually looks like romance
What are you serious? I really enjoy reading ISSTH, would be rather sad if it turns into tragedy.. :/
all of Tang Jia San Shao's works have great romance ..... and other pure romance novels are either being mtl'ed or being translated at speed that transcends snails.....so not much hope there
