So, did you enter here thinking about League of Legends? right?! imean, what are the chances you’ll think it’s about laughing out loud? like seriously. why do ppl(that teacher) think misinterpret l o l as league of legends when i meant laugh out loud. and i’ve barely played i- wait, i’ve actually not played it then............ sheesh, is lol that great? (perhaps it should be memorable?) oh, there’s no tag for laugh out loud.
...I don't actually look at titles until after I click on them. I just see the alert about a new post and click on it, so the joke was spoiled before I read the title. Sorry.
This is more for general chat than site discussion. That said, when I read the title I though laughing out loud at first, then thought league of legends once I processed the context. Context is important, if a title says questions about lol, it makes no sense for it to be laughing out loud. You might ask what is lol, then that is a different story
If I see lol I assume it's laugh out loud, unless it's phrased in a specific way like this topic. I immediately thought League of Legends then due to phrasing.
Have played lol not for a noob like me who is trash at that game and didn't even get past the first pvp game. Edit : the lovely words that greeted me after I was introduced to the actual pvp games as a beginner my teammates said to me go k** yourself why don't you go d** beautiful lovely words probably uttered by retarded people I understand so I didn't mind these but it still continued so Meh the game experience wasn't fun at all since it was filled with surfs and trolls where I got burned to death by pro players for being a trash beginner who didn't know anything and I kinda learned how to diss people due to LOL pro players thanks to them my swear words collection increased . And I became eloquent and classy in burning someone but don't worry I haven't till date brought that magnificent talent of mine to face the broad sunlight. [Psh I am just blubbering on and on don't mind me I am sleepy right now so I don't know what I am saying myself ] I am not throwing shade though at those pro-players just didn't find it good for me [too much moves that I didn't understand ]and didn't get interested enough to continue playing it. I like wow more well wow is world of warcraft which was a much more amazing gaming experience for beginner me and I still love it. Now coming to what the thread was about what I first thought when I saw lol was laugh out loud cliché thoughts but that was what came to my mind first.
think nothing~ league of legend? nah prefer dota meh dunno why not interested toward online games, maybe cuz this cat group been scattered around. It was fun playing online games at netcafe lol~
I thought this is about League of Legends, since the title is “about lol”, as for laughing out loud and lots of love, it’s rarely used, people use LMAO more than lol, lots of love, it’s super duper rare.
No, when Ai-chan sees lol, Ai-chan thought about a dude raising both his hands in the air in hallelujah motion. Though some people apparently see things differently. LOL “Rofl” ~ Oscar Wilde on LOL LOL From the Dutch word Lølen, the term LOL (pronounced as one word, with a long "o", as in "Dude, I was lolling so hard that I fell over.") is commonly used throughout the internet as a means to show empathy, standing for 'Lots of love'. It can also mean 'I have nothing better to say'. LOL is not to be confused with lol, which is just a man with his arms raised. Example <jameskf> My Mum just died <DriverMan> LOL <karg> LOL, that's so sad. <qfeen> LOL <drunk> LOL <cranyon666> Thats *really* sad LOL <eggmaster> I feel your loss <eggmaster> LoL <fust0r> LoL, Hope it wasn't a long and painful death <jameskf> Thanks Guys your the best intarweb pals i got! <drunk> We're always here for you, LOL.
The fact that you remember this means that your old enough. Generally i only use this term for my old friends because they won't associate it with league of legends when i use it.
